Greetings CFMA Honolulu Chapter Members
We know that the last four months of our 2020-2021 membership year have been extremely challenging, and this pandemic has had a profound impact on all of our lives and organizations. Although we need to practice social distancing, we are still committed to providing our chapter members with education and resources to help mitigate this stressful time. It's more important now than ever before to stay connected and keep up with what's going on around us.
To provide all of you with an update, we have decided to cancel all “in person” activities until December of 2020. This was a very difficult decision, but the health and safety of our members, their organizations and families are first and foremost. We will be mindful if circumstances change and adjust accordingly. Please know that our chapter board is diligently working on finding ways for us to stay connected and keep up with the latest developments.
In the immediate future, we are in the process of putting together a webinar on July 31, 2020 to provide information and perspectives on the Paycheck Protection Plan (PPP) (details to follow). We will also look at other opportunities to provide membership with information and a means to stay connected.
Going forward, we encourage your continued participation and input. If there are specific topics, activities or resources you are interested in, please reach out to our board members and let them know how we can help! Our CFMA members are one of our most valuable resources and we will do what we can to provide support, information and guidance through our organization.
In the meantime, stay safe and healthy!
With Much Aloha,
President, CFMA Honolulu 2020-2021
